As I mentioned in the previous episode, our journey continued yesterday towards Lands End and, one of our favourites, Sennen Cove.
There’s a huge carpark which, in the summer, I’m sure will be crammed with cars but today is almost empty. This means that we can face the beach.
Alfie rushed down the ramp and onto the beach. He is in heaven. Peter spotted a couple of gannets diving for fish and spent quite a time trying to get the perfect shot – really difficult at a distance and they move fast!
The waves can be enormous and very dramatic!
But for Alfie it was just pure heaven, except, that is for those annoying rivulets…
He really hates getting his feet wet!
The next thing to do is to find that cream tea…
Don’t I recognise that woman inside?
Ummm… (just for Margaret)
Outside it was still warmish…
but it was time to head back to Come to Good…
… via some merry maidens…
and a (very small) protest march in Newlyn against climate change.
Such magnificent seascapes!

It certainly looks like a fabulous day. I hope yesterday wasn’t too bad for you (weather wise) in the end? Great gannet shots dad!

Those waves in the header photo look like they’ve been painted on, and they’re a great colour.
