With the new laws regarding the limits to our movements, it is clear that we must now leave Cornwall tomorrow. Although we have kept ourselves to ourselves, we are bowing to the inevitable.and going home. Just when the weather is looking up!
We had hoped to give Alfie his final beach ramble today but thought it best to stay on the farm. He had a ramble about with Peter, who took some more pics of the running ducks and the chickens. I fiddled about with some watercolours but was not particularly happy with them – not my style really and I much prefer acrylics or oil.
So it’s goodbye – we have enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning in more sensible times…
The Quaker thatched meeting house opposite the farm explains its name: “Come to Good Farm”.

No! I will really miss sharing your adventures each day. I always marvel at what a talented artist you are Val (must be in the genes 😘) As always your blog and pics transport me there and I’m so sorry you have to head home.
From noon today all our Pubs, Clubs, Restaurants, Cafes, Gyms and Churches are closed apart from take-away food and Schools will soon follow.
Our generation has never been exposed to such a crisis and with so many mixed messages no wonder people are losing the plot here!
I can’t wait til you set off again next year!
Stay safe x

It’s been lovely to read your comments Vicki and to keep in touch this way. Please take care of yourself and hopefully we will all come out of this terrible period of our lives unscathed and ready to enjoy ourselves again without all of these restrictions to our liberty. It will be worth it in the end. Love to you, John, your family and friends. xx

Sad not to see more brilliant photos, especially when housebound but thank you. Safe journey home.
